I am from district khargone of Madhya Pradesh. I want to hammock gir breed cows and HF breed cows. Is the climate of my region is suitable for to do such . pls guided me and enform abt where I got A grade semen for this

To the best of our understanding, Khargone, MP has a transitional climate between a tropical wet & dry climate and a humid subtropical climate. The summer temperature rise fairly above 45ºC and winter temperature goes well below 10ºC. Considering the above fact we would suggest rearing Gir, Sahiwal or Kankrej. You may also keep few animals from each breed.
Considering the temperature extremities in your region maintaining Pure HF/ HF crossbred would not be a good option in your region.
