Reference to this RM Value test for milk fat, we would like to understand the implication of water temperature flowing inside the condenser unit.
It is mentioned in the procedure that outlet temp. of water from the condenser should be 15-20 Degree centigrade. To achieve this outlet temp., inlet has to be lower than that. Now, given the lab conditions, for us, it is not possible to provide such a low inlet temperature at condenser. We are normally providing/circulating water at around 30-35 degree centigrade. Is this going to affect the quality of distillate and hence the RM value of milk fat?
Would like to understand what are the implication on RM value results so that we can able to control adulteration issues.
Dear Pratik,
It is not recommended to deviate from the parameters indicated in any standard procedure and this also applies to the case of water in the condensor used for determination of RM Value of milk fat.
While theoretically it will have impact on the performance of the method, it is generally not possible to define the impact and its significance without carrying out experiments.
Best wishes.
I also think like that, it is not recommended to deviate from the parameters indicated in any standard procedure and this also applies to the case of water in the condensor used for determination of RM Value of milk fat.
Milk fat is really harmful.
In India at the period of the 1960s, baby milk food was imported from other countries. The multinationals rejected our requests to set up manufacturing facilities.
Then csir has manufactured baby milk food from buffalo milk with less fat and good digestibility.

Thanks For Sharing great post that is very informative for us.
Milk fat is not ggod for health.
But if you use soya products such as milk, cheese and paneer then is good for health. soya products are free from fats.
