In order to provide recognition to outstanding teachers and to promote quality teaching in the field of Agriculture, four outstanding teacher awards are given annually. Each award consists of ₹ 1.00 lakh in cash + travel grant of ₹ 1.00 lakh to promote innovation in teaching. The applications through proper channel in respect of the eligible teachers are invited from SAUs, CAUs and DUs.
